Winter Touring

This picture was taken on a tour of winter themed decorated sims, many of which are private homes here in SL. I liked the snowy pine as a backdrop for the green dress. Filed in my favorite clothes, Medieval collection.

The hair is my standard dance style Daphne, which has flexi curls that move as I dance.

The dress is  in green (I also have the Dove Gray). Both dresses come with a matching lace top to cover the bare shoulders and neck. Nice to wear on those days when the palace is a bit draughty,

Hazel - in black

This is an Emerald Couture - Hazel in Black. I love the vertical striping on the skirt, the high waist and three quarter length sleeves. This is an outfit I would wear in real life quite comfortably. Background was an event. Of course, I can not recall which event. Just found the purple and teal combo remarkable.  Still learning about camera work in SecondLife.

Welcome to Covenstead's Summerisle

This picture is from the dock where boats land on Summerisle . I have found friends and teachers here, and in many ways this is my "third place" being neither home, nor office. I find it so much easier to play 'dress up' in SL. From the Newsletter: Summerisle is a fully Pagan community with societal roles, which you may choose to partake in, or not. We are based on the Unity Empire System which allows those who are interested, to hunt, gather, farm, cook and create items for in game Pounds and Pence that may be used for food, rent, medicines, tips, etc. However, we are first and foremost a Sim dedicated to Pagan learning and camaraderie so OOC chat is never frowned upon or discouraged, nor are those who may not follow a Pagan path as long as they respect the beliefs of others. . . .
