Once Upon A Time in SL - Part 2 - The Village outside Oldtown

The Oldtown village had many creature comforts, and all the artisans and craftsman a small village could need. In addition to the Green Man, we had a tea house with a couple of rooms to let, a dressmaker, an apothecary, a blacksmith, a tanner, a small bath house behind the tavern, a sawyer, a small farm with pigs, cows, goats and the corral with His Lordship's horses. Also a well, which served all village. The village was bounded on one end by the bridge to the city, on the other by the bridge to the forest.

Hazel - in black

This is an Emerald Couture - Hazel in Black. I love the vertical striping on the skirt, the high waist and three quarter length sleeves. This is an outfit I would wear in real life quite comfortably. Background was an event. Of course, I can not recall which event. Just found the purple and teal combo remarkable. Still learning about camera work in SecondLife.

This picture is from the dock where boats land on Summerisle . I have found friends and teachers here, and in many ways this is my "third place" being neither home, nor office. Once Upon A Time in real life I studied the heraldry of Europe in the Middle Ages, from which I developed an interest in flags and banners. The banners displayed in town, the tapestries displayed at various establishments all have their appeal.
